Underpinned by careful planning and considered design practice, Amberfield, Hamilton is more than just another housing development. With nearly 1,000 houses, 23 hectares of open spaces and reserves, a commercial centre and extensive river frontage including cycling and walking paths, Amberfield will become a destination in its own right.

With a deadline looming and a massive team of development experts involved, we were tasked with coming up to speed, then branding a new neighbourhood years in the planning. With a large number of stakeholders and a complex location, we had a number of great stories to tell. The name Amberfield references the majestic mature trees, the land and a nod the ancestors who have farmed spot. It also celebrates an archaeological site that has been protected.

So many thanks to you all in providing a collective “sum of many parts”. You have all played a part in the story so far and our challenge was considerable in pulling together a subdivision application of this scale, in such a short time frame.
